East: 1.Orlando 2.Miami 3.Boston 4.Chicago 5.Atlanta 6.Detroit 7.Milwaukee 8.New York
West: 1.LA Lakers 2.OKC 3.Dallas 4.Denver 5.San Antonio 6.Portland 7.Phoenix 8.Utah
NBA Finals:Lakers vs. Magic, Magic in 7.
As for my Pistons, well they have a good young core around Stuckey-BG-Daye-Jerebko-Monroe, but they need to get rid of Tay and Rip and try to trade for a good big man, I miss the past years where we were a lock for the ECF 6 years straight. We are still a couple years out but once these guys develop all we will need is a true "star" and we can make a run for a championship.

I am gonna go a little more broad with my picks (not teams but with awards and such).
EAST 1. Miami 2. Orlando 3. Boston 4. Chicago 5. Atlanta 6. Milwaukee 7. Philadelphia (I like their core players). 8. Cleveland (shocking right, but I think with Byron Scott they have a chance to get 8th seed, W/O Prince James).
WEST 1. Lakers 2. Dallas 3. Spurs 4. OKC 5. Utah 6. Portland 7. Denver 8. Memphis (yup, gonna go with a shocker, I'd like to pick the other LA, team but not sold on it yet).
Lakers vs Boston, part 3 with LAL winning it in 7. KB NBA FINALS MVP
MVP: Kevin Durant, with Dwight and CP3, 2nd and 3rd COY: Erik Spoelstra (by default) MIP: Anthony Morrow (this kid is bound to have a big year for NJN). DPOY: Dwight Howard 6th man of year: Jason Terry ROY: John Wall
FUN FACT: JOE DUMARS blew a chance to get Rajon Rondo for RIP, Prince, and Stuckey, little did he know his laughing at that offer would cost him a 1st team all defender, and a super talented PG that could of lead the team to success for years as well as Ray Allen and his expiring contract, AS WELL AS HIS JOB.
Now as for my team the Lakers, it's pretty much Status Quo, if anything take SAS approach and don't give a damn about NOV and DEC, and start the season on JAN, but this being PHIL's final year I think he might try to go for 73 wins this year, just have a feeling. As for the roster, love the additions of Blake, Ratliff, Ebanks, Caracter, and Barnes along with bringing Fish back, the bench was a weakness last year, and now this year it's going to be the Lakers strength. Though I would of preferred them using Walton and Vujacic to get Calderon and then sign Anthony Morrow with full MLE instead of signing Blake and Barnes. All in all it's time for a 3 peat for LA LA land and business as usual for KB and the crew.

West: 1. LA Lakers 2. Denver 3. Dallas 4. Oklahoma City 5. Portland 6. Phoenix 7. San Antonio 8. Memphis
Couple changes here i think the Bulls had a great offseason and should be able to get the 3... If you look at their starting lineup they have Noah/Boozer/Deng/Brewer/Rose plus guys like Kurt Thomas/Kyle Kover/Cj watson/Taj Gibson/James Johnson coming off the bench... Yes i do ahve Boston as the 6 seed... The core is just agin so much and they are getting old... I really like what Milwaukee has doen this offseason... Resigning John Salmons and then trading for CDR and Maggette... Their starting 5 is looking like Bogut/Gooden/Maggette/Salmons/Jennings... They also have JOn Brockman coming off then bench with Luc Richard moute/Ersan/Defino so they have a solid chance to get up with the other teams IMO...
As for the West their are no major changes except Memphis getting the 8 spot i just love how that teams works and if Mike COnley can become the True PG they should have no problem getting to the playoffs...
PLAYOFFS PREDICTION: East 1-8 Miami over Philly in 4 2-7 Orlando over New York in 5 3-6 Chicago over Boston in 7 4-5 Milwaukee over Atlanta in 7 ---------- 1-4 Miami over Milwaukee in 6 2-3 Orlando over Chicago in 7 ----------- 1-2 Miami over Orlando in 5 ------------ West 1-8 Lakers over Memphis in 4 2-7 Denver over San Antonio in 6 3-6 Phoenix over Dallas in 7 4-5 OKC over Portland in 7 ----------- 1-4 OKC over Lakers in 7 2-6 Denver over Phoenix in 5 ----------- 4-2 Denver over OKC in 5
FINALS 1-2 Denver over Miami in 7
I just went with a little upsets to change things up and Carmelo returns and signs a 12 year deal after winning the Playoffs MVP... I just love what Nuggets did by getting Al Harrington

East: 1. Miami 2. Orlando 3. Boston 4. Chicago 5. Atlanta 6. Milwaukee 7. New York 8. Charlotte
West: 1. LA Lakers 2. OKC 3. Dallas 4. Denver 5. Portland 6. Utah 7. San Antonio 8. Phoenix
Well the Bulls didn't get Lebron or Wade to help them become legit contenders in the East, but they picked up what they needed in Boozer, Korver, Brewer, Watson, Thomas and possibly McGrady. Rose will improve yet again and he claims he now has a constant 3 point shot. I can see them getting to the 2nd round this year.

I think they will make the playoffs over the Grizzlies, or at least as of now. We don't really know how the Suns are going to compete next season compared to Memphis.

East: 1. Miami 2. Boston 3. Chicago 4. Orlando 5. Atlanta 6. New York 7. Washington 8. Detroit West: 1. LA Lakers 2. Portland 3. Denver 4. Dallas 5. Oklahoma City 6. Phoenix 7. Utah 8. If he does then they have a legit team this year but could hurt future development. If he doesn't then they have a good young core of Brooks/Martin/Ariza to build around and could be legit in a year or two, wish they had gotten Ed Davis...one pick away! Just like Brandon Roy As far as my Heat, your guess is as good as mine.

West: 1.LA Lakers 2.Dallas 3.Denver 4.Utah 5.OKC 6.Portland 7.Phoenix 8.Golden State
I don't really care who wins the ship but I guess it'll be LA or Miami. I am actually a lot more excited to see what my young Knicks can do this year. I think they could go as high as 5th in the east but have also the chance to miss the playoffs because the east is really wide open this year.
