I know people will say I am nuts for saying this (and know it's not LBJ going to LAL, that's not gonna happen PERIOD).
I think LBJ should OPT IN to his contract for ONE MORE YEAR.
He gives himself more options for next year.
These are the team's he can REALISTICALLY go to this year.
NYK, CHI, NJN, MIA, LAC, SAC, WAS, OKC.
MIN has cap space but with this year's 1st rd. pick and Rubio's salary still counting against the cap, you can throw them out of the running this year.
Now if LBJ just waits one more year
this could be his team list
NYK, CHI, NJN, LAC, SAC, WAS, OKC, IND, MIL, CHA, BOS, HOU, DAL, ATL, UTH, TOR, PHI, PHX, POR, GSW, DEN, DET, MIN and MEM (if they don't give R. Gay a contract extension this year).
I left MIA off the list cause they are not gonna risk losing Wade, so they sign big boys this year.
So that eliminates LAL, ORL, NOH, MIA, SAS from the list.
BTW I am not makin them up, look at those team's cap space up on HOOPSHYPE for 2011/2012 season, they have a lot of money, it would also help if the cap went up 56.1 mil in 2010/2011 to 57-59 in 2011/2012.
But out of these team's THIS YEAR
NYK, CHI, NJN, MIA, LAC, SAC, WAS, OKC.
Remove MIA and LAC, not gonna ride Wade's coattail or play under the building which the LAKERS OWN.
He's not playing in WAS with the whole Arenas situation and their situation right now is worse then any other team's situations are because of the Arenas thing.
So NYK, CHI, NJN, and SAC are his only options for this year.
If I am SAC, I definitely try to trade Noicioni and add this year's current pick as a sweetener to get more cap space and not have this year's draft pick count against your salary cap.
I think CHI AND SAC has the best situations right now.
CHI: Rose, Deng, Hinrich, James Johnson, Joakim Noah. SAC: Udrih, Tyreke, Landry, Hawes, Casspi, and Thompson
NYK has solid players but he can't go their alone, either Bosh or Amare has to go along with him, and as talented as NJN is, they need to get John Wall to even CONVINCE LBJ to go to NJN, Lopez and Harris are nice, but they still need another game changer on their team (I trust B. Lopez, but I don't have that much faith in D. Harris, he's more of a combo guard to me right now then a PG).
So I'll say he ends up in CHI town and takes on MJ and his legacy in MJ's house (the man he grew up respecting and idolizing).

Neither will go to Chicago as they dont want to have to play under the house Michael built. Bron will go to an already good team via S&T because he like Cleveland and wants to put them and himself in the best situation possible.

Lebron is changing his number for Jordan, maybe he wants to win a championship for his old team too?

he's changing his number. . . .after seven years in the NBA. I'm sure he didnt have an epiphany this year that Jordan was the GOAT and finally decide to change it. He did it to get back to #1 on the jersey chart.
If he actually is changing his number for Jordan, why would he go to the same place Jordan played and try to do the same thing he did? He says "no one should wear the number" well, why would he go to Chicago to try to win if he feels no one can compare to Jordan?

Well if he wants to be #1 in jersey charts, him going to big markets in Chicago or New York will let him take it.
If he actually is changing his number for Jordan, I think it's because he grew up idolizing him, he wants to show him respect since he was his favourite player growing up. All he ever wanted probably was to be just like Micheal Jordan, so going to Chicago can give him that change.

Lebron will go to Chicago. Bosh will be lured to Chicago. Chicago will be terrifying.
Joe Johnson or Carlos Boozer or both will go to New York. Carmelo will go to New York next season.
Wade will stay in Miami. Pat Riley isn't interested in a guy like Boozer who only performs in contract years, and wont get Bosh either. Miami will sign Stoudemire if he doesn't re-sign with Phoenix.

Um...where's Taj Gibson. He was possibly the reason they were even in a chance to make the playoffs. Johnson didn't play that much and although he had some good games and showed glimpses he isn't ready to make a major contribution until his third year at least.

As far as predictions go...
Lebron and Bosh to Chicago
Wade re-signs after Amare signs with Miami
Dirk and Joe Johnson to the Knicks (Melo follows in 2011)
Boozer to Dallas
If Boston doesn't win it this year then Ray Allen signs with the Magic
Both Camby and Stephen Jackson re-sign
