If anyone needs a center Dalembert (75) can be traded for a bench scrub.

Bobby Simmons and his $10,500,000 expiring is on the block. Anyone trying to clear cap space for the off season?
I have several other exprings as well that could be packaged for massive cap space!

I would like to hear some offers for:
Harris Devin 83 $8,400,000 $8,981,000 $9,319,000 $8,500,000
Ford TJ 77 $8,500,000 $8,500,000
Gooden Drew 76 $4,500,000
Brewer Ronnie 75 $2,717,161 $3,779,571
PM me if you are interested.
Btw I thought we would discuss existing trades in this thread, but this is kind of cool too.

Foster possibly on the block for an expiring, could package him with someone. Not really looking to trade Kidd or Barbosa, but if the right trade comes along I could go with it.

Wow pretty big trade between NY, OKC and LAC. I think OKC is the big winner in this one, Maggette for trash+picks is pretty nice. Dont know why NY does this but I guess it's part of a bigger plan.

Yea, my team isn't winning as assembled, and honestly I drafted more for next year and the future anyway. So, I trade away Maggette making 9-11 mil over 4 years.
I get back expirings in Kwame and Steve Blake who, especially Blake, I can probably trade for something else that is decent. I get a 1st and 2 2nds. I get a top 5 draft rights player in the NBA in Sergio Llull. I get Linas Kleiza who may start at SF for the Raptors IRL.
clearing that contract of maggette and getting multiple pieces I like is a great trade for me.
This offer beats the other best offer I had by 2 2nds, a player I actually like (kleiza), another player I actually like a lot (llull), and the expirings I get in this are better than I would have gotten in the other best offer.
No brainer for me.
If you wanted to offer more for Maggette you should have paid attention to him being OTB for the past month.

Oh no dont get me wrong, I wish I could've made an offer like that but I didn't have any expirings.
But the way I see it is, you took Maggette with the 1st pick of the 4th round where you could have gotten another nice young player and now you turn around and dump him for almost nothing. Seems a little odd to me.

I guess we just have vastly differing values on what I got back. I trust my drafting, and the 2010 class is deep with guys I like a lot. Llull I value a lot, Steve Blake and Kwame I can turn into other valuable pieces, and I like Kleiza's chances in Toronto IRL.
Maggette's salary just kills.

If Llull is a stud then you rule Knicks!
